The Simpson House Inn is nestled amid award winning gardens in a quiet neighborhood of the American Riviera. Our main house is an historic Victorian estate that exemplifies the Eastlake Italianate style. It was built in 1874 by Robert Simpson and has been lovingly restored by the Davies family. Due to their hard work and attention to detail, Simpson House Inn has been honored with a Structure of Merit Award and a historic Landmark Status.

The restored Carriage House at Simpson House Inn carefully blends antique elegance with modern luxuries. Originally built in 1878 and upgraded with care to current energy & comfort standards, the Carriage House is currently home to four of the most exquisitely appointed guest rooms in Santa Barbara. Each of these rooms provide superior accommodations that include a king-size bed, sitting area with love seat, wood-burning fireplace, and antique furnishings.
